People Are Like Seasons
Missed Connections in the City of San Francisco
life is funny.
it’s frustrating.
it’s magical.
it’s depressing.
it’s enlightening.
it’s a gift.
it changes in a moment.
bright days turn dark.
clouds form, rain pours.
winds blow, lightning strikes.
eventually it passes and clears up.
rainbows rise.
the sun shines.
flowers bloom.
weeks fade into months.
bad days eventually become good days.
winter turns to summer.
it always works out.
grudges are for people who hate themselves.
happiness is forgiving. tomorrow’s a new day.
above all things, life is short.
enjoy it.
Her Two Cents
The only certainty life holds is that time moves forward. Why is enjoying today, enjoying the now, a task we often avoid? We throw aside our current lives only to look back upon it with strong emotion. We ignore the present, preferring to look ahead to something better, different, or more interesting tomorrow. What if everything we needed was right in front of us right now? Would be even believe it?
