Missed Connections in Bloomington
Are you my dentist?
I love to smile and laugh. I would love to do it without being self-conscious about it.
The problem? My teeth are not wonderful.
I have spent the last 4 years calling everyone in Bloomington to see if they will accept a payment plan.
Did I miss you?
Every 6 months I apply for care credit, and do not get approved.
Every day my teeth get worse.
Maybe this makes me trashy, but if I’m trying to fix it, there is some hope for me yet.
One would think.
I even have insurance. It just doesn’t cover much.
I also have 3k to put down. If you’re NOT a dentist and reading this, that probably sounds like a lot of cash.
It isn’t. At last check they wanted $7k to start.
If you ARE my future dentist, wouldn’t you like to change a life?
I can clean offices, I can answer phones. I can pay $200/mo if my teeth are fixed from the get-go.
Tell me somehow I’ve missed you….

Her Two Cents from the Missed Connections Chief Bottle-Finder:
This is the first missed connection I’ve ever seen referencing the sorry-state of our national healthcare system. I really hope our poet gets a lead on a dentist who was willing to work out a payment schedule. If you think about it, this person would have an easier time getting a car loan! It just seems wrong on so many different levels… When I stumbled upon Cat Rocketship’s most appropriate illustration on Flickr, I thought to myself, “Why does that name sound so familiar???” It took a moment, but then I realized she blogs for Offbeat Home and Hipster Housewife – two of my favorite sources for alternative home-design inspiration. Well worth checking out!
